Cloud Software
It may be only a few pounds a month but it soon adds up
We aren‘t a fan of the cloud. It’s a salesman’s dream come true; endless monthly payments for doing nothing. For most businesses it just doesn‘t make sense. That‘s why cloud software has such high commission. The cloud has its place for storage and sharing data but not for ordinary software.
Let’s explain; you can buy Microsoft Office for £180 or pay £10 a month for Cloud Office 365. Over five years that‘s a whopping £600! You might be able to use it anywhere, if the Internet is available, but they won’t tell you there is a free Microsoft Office available online that‘s just as good, it’s there as a competitor to Google. As for updates, Microsoft only updates their software every three years and most people don’t need the extra’s.
